M C Process awarded Chemwes contract

M C Process has been awarded the contract to supply a 25m³ flocculant plant to Chemwes. A complete turnkey dry powder flocculant plant will be supplied to the First Uranium (Pty) Ltd gold and uranium process plant at Chemwes- near Stilfontein, via MDM Engineering (Pty) Ltd. M C Process will also be responsible for all transportation, the supervision of erection and complete commissioning of the 25m³ flocculant plant.


M C Process to supply Chemwes SX package

Chemwes has awarded M C Process the contract to supply a complete Solvent Extraction (SX) equipment package, repeat of Ezulwini Uranium SX plant, which was built by M C Process and supplied in 2008. The plant’s initial capacity will be 50,000 tons per annum which can be ramped up to 100,000 tons per annum. The contract comprises the supply and supervision of all mechanical equipment, valves, transportation to site, structural design and commissioning.


M C Process supply to Witcons an Xstrata Mine

M C Process will supply one of their standard package plants; 3m³ complete dry powder flocculant plant for Witcons an Xstrata coal mine

The flocculant plant will consist of a complete make up and dosing plant for the treatment of coal tailings.



M C Process supply Flocculant Plant to Mooiplaats colliery

Mooiplaats colliery, operating near Witbank is owned by Coal of Africa Limited (“CoAL”) formerly GVM Metals, who, have awarded the contract of a 7m³ dry powder flocculant plant to M C Process. CoAL is primarily focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of thermal and metallurgical coal projects in South Africa. The company’s key projects, along with their leading metals processing company Nimag Group (Pty) Ltd are in South Africa. The company was incorporated in Western Australia and listed in 1980. Since 2005, the company has also listed on the AIM and JSE markets, allowing further growth in the company’s coal assets.
